Erik Scott is a chart active, known Bass Player/Musician, Writer, Producer and Grammy winner, with a 40+ years career as a professional in the music industry. Three solo albums under his belt, two instrumentals, one album with both. We are seeking marketing from a label, and continue to branch out with more radio markets globally. While his band Sonia Dada is on hiatus shooting a movie, Erik would like to once again write for television and movies. He is also interested in doing a small tour with friends as guests, to continue his music career on this side of the fence, a more unplugged type show in smaller venues. Erik wrote songs for Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, Kim Carnes, Triumph, (many more), also for tv shows ABC, NBC, CBS, Major movies and commercials. He has produced, recorded and toured with Flo & Eddie/Reprise, Alice Cooper/WB's, Kim Carnes/EMI, Carl Palmer (ELP), Signal/Capitol EMI, and was a founding member of the eclectic band Sonia Dada/Capricorn/Calliope, which reached triple platinum in Australia with their first album, breaking chart records. Erik's solo albums include, "Other Planets", more Ambient World/Instrumental but quickly became album of the month in Feb 2011 on Echoes Radio. His second, "...and the Earth Bleeds" has some vocals, "Free" and "Loco Amour" has a guest vocalist, Ana Botero, lead vocalist for the Nu-Meta/Hard Rock band RottViolent. This was album was released on Earth Day, environmental groups have pick the song "Earth Bleeds" for their campaigns and Sea Changes debut their version music video at the Monterey Convention Center News Year Eve, projecting the 3D image on the exterior hotel wall. In December, Erik released "Spirits", geared more to the New Age/World genre, holding positions on the charts and album of the month. He is going for his second Grammy nomination.
