Angelique is a professional Senegalese singer who began her musical journey in a choir after graduating from high school. She attended the National School of Arts and graduated as a music teacher. She released two albums in 2008 and 2016. Her style is varied, encompassing international pop, world music, soul, gospel, reggae, salsa, and her own original compositions. She accompanies herself on guitar and plays a little piano. She moved to France in 2017 and has since been working on her album and touring in Belgium and Germany. She also performs at private parties and birthday celebrations.
