I am the Music2Deal Provincial Representative for Gauteng and a music and communications professional with a strong background in music rights, licensing and community development. My career includes several years at SAMRO, where I worked first as a Licensing Representative and later as a Regional Sales Manager for the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape. I spent a lot of time on the ground in venues, shops, restaurants and events, helping businesses understand how to use music legally and how to respect the rights of music creators. I also ran workshops for SAMRO members on royalties, radio airplay and payment structures, which gave me a clear view of the challenges that music professionals face. Beyond SAMRO I have worked with major retail groups that run in-house radio, advising them on music usage and licensing needs in different regions. I studied Applied Communication Management at the University of Fort Hare and have also worked in elections, courts, local government and community projects. This experience taught me how to move through complex systems and communicate with many different stakeholders. On Music2Deal my focus is to help serious music professionals in Gauteng and beyond use the platform as a real business tool, build strong networks and connect to genuine opportunities in South Africa and worldwide. I am always open to connect with artists, managers, publishers and other professionals who want to grow their careers in a structured and informed way.
