A Bachelor of Commerce graduate turned Audio Engineer. Qhawe Shoba is deeply passionate about music, media production, and the business behind it. He is a South African audio engineer and media producer. Born and raised in KwaZulu-Natal, he now resides in Johannesburg with the intention of advancing his career. He studied a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 2017 to 2021. After completing his qualification, he decided to pursue his passion and his true purpose as a music/media producer, audio engineer, and a successful creative entrepreneur. In 2022, he began studying towards a Diploma in Audio Technology at the Academy of Sound Engineering in Auckland Park. Although he is still relatively new to the industry, he already has a few years of valuable experience. He works as a freelance studio and live sound engineer. He has been involved in multiple live productions with artists such as Joyous Celebration, Mzansi Philharmonic Orchestra, K.Keed and Sio, to name just a few. He has also recorded, mixed, and mastered various songs for aspiring artists. He also has experience working as a music data evaluator, a junior audio technician, and a multimedia intern. He is an Avid-certified Pro Tools and VENUE operator with experience using various media and audio software and hardware.
