Clonda “Chuck” Brittman is one of the premier vocalists of the music industry today. His style embraces an impressive spectrum of moods through emotion and song. His talent only begins at being a gifted performer and writer. He also plays a major role in production and arrangement. Compared to the likes of Stevie wonder, Jeffrey Osborne, and CeeLo Green for his wide-ranging voice and his fusion of soul and modern music. Clonda’s journey began in Chicago playing local venues and continuing on throughout the United States. He was featured as lead vocalist in the band "Up From the Bottom" and wrote/co-wrote most of the songs as well as lent ideas toward production. The group completed a fifteen city tour that spanned from coast to coast. Soon after, they recorded an album for Universal Records which sold 6000 copies in the first week! Clonda continued on with a solo project and led a five piece band on a twelve city tour from Chicago to Los Angeles. While on tour, his talent led to major collaborations and performances with world renowned artists such as the Commodores, Jeffery Osborne, Frieda Payne, Sean Delaney, and Donald J. Kehl to name a few. Clonda has completed production on his solo debut album entitled “A Man In Love With Love”. The album features a variety of songs from the soulful ballad “Take My Breath Away”, the smooth R&B jam “By Your Side”, and most notably “Love Aint Supposed to Hurt”. It’s currently taking the UK radio waves by storm, debuting at #29 on Solar Radio’s Sweet Rhythms Chart and reached as high as #16 within the first two weeks based on listener requests alone. All three songs are currently available on Bandcamp. Stay tuned as Clonda has already begun writing and recording songs for his follow up album which will further embody the emotion, soul, and passion that has been lost in modern/contemporary music for so long.
