My professional career as a vocalist started with the R&B Group “Page One” in 1988 with the single “Baby Say Yes” released on Spring Records. After the group split up I began writing lyrics and creating melodies and continued my career as a solo artist. My first single “Make It” was released in 1993 on JPIL Pure Music Records with Producer Gary Wright as I performed and wrote the lyrics and melody. I continued writing, collaborating and performing with various Producers such as Dennis Ferrer on “Believe It” released in 1995 on Mic Mac Records. In 1995 I also performed background vocals on Poppy Seed’s “Blue Daze” Alternative Rock album – C&S Records, and performed background vocals on Guantanamera Dance Remix – PolyGram Records, which topped the charts at #10 in France. In 1997 I collaborated with Paul Harlyn co-producing and writing the lyrics and melody for “Don’t Look Back” – Surreal Records. In 1997 I also performed live and co-hosted an Internet audiovisual program Hang Time and interviewed George Clinton. In 1998 I performed the vocals on “Pump This Party” – Chastity Records. I have also performed in various clubs in the Tri State, Washington DC and Japan. In 2001 I performed as the lead vocalist of a nine piece Hip-Hop Acid Jazz Funk Band, Funk Monk in the New York City area. In 2002 I performed as the lead vocalist in an R&B trio in Sapporo City, Japan. In 2005 I showcased my talents in the tri-state area performing with the Gospel Choir Illuminations Chorale and Beyond Blessed. My first appearance with Beyond Blessed was opening for Byron Cage in NYC. In 2006 I recorded the “Born to Praise” Album with J.C. Thompson and Beyond Blessed, and two songs from the album was released on the 98.7 Kiss FM 25th Anniversary of the Night Healing compilation CD. On November 10, 2006 I performed with Beyond Blessed in concert on Broadway at Symphony Space in NYC. “Deep In My Soul” & “Floating Away” with Aslam on Purple Edge Records in 2009; “Summertime” with UnionSteve on Muzik for Life Records, “I Wanna”, “Get on Down” and “Calling Out for U” with 35Bag in 2009. In 2015 I started using Mixcraft6 creating tracks for songs that I had written and arranged on the acoustic guitar and keyboard. By going with the flow and trusting my intuition, within 7 months I found I had created enough songs for 3 Albums “Volcanic Eruption”, X of Reckoning” and Harvest X = Luv”. Initially I was in shock as I had never used music software before, but despite that fact I knew I had to share it. I officially released my first Single “Ready 4 Love” on June 15th; and Single “Closer” along with the “Volcanic Eruption” Album. I’ve recently created remixes for some of the songs featured on the “Volcanic Eruption” Album as well as songs from my “Harvest X = Luv” Album released album on September 22, 2016. I performed all of the vocals on my self-produced albums.
