I work at the intersection of music, storytelling, and long-form conversation, and I joined Music2Deal to connect with musicians, managers, publishers, and other industry professionals who believe the stories behind music and craft are worth telling. I am always interested in meeting potential podcast guests, discovering new artistic perspectives, and connecting with people whose experiences in music deserve a wider audience. Building on my background as a musician and creative media innovator, I focus on exploring and helping to tell rare and remarkable stories of music and the creative life. With more than two decades in international broadcasting, audio journalism, and now podcasting, I have interviewed dozens of artists about their music, experiences, collaborations, risks, and the turning points that have shaped their journeys. I’ve learned over decades of this kind of work, that there is something remarkable about every artist, something fascinating in every interview, and that every story deserves to be told. Helping artists tell their story well is my job, and I love it. Today I host The Sum of All Wisdom, a podcast devoted to thoughtful conversations with musicians, composers, educators, and other creative professionals. The show focuses on the lived experience of music: how music helps us find ourselves, how it helps us to meet and understand the world, how artists develop their voice, how creative communities form, how musical lives evolve over time, and more. Alongside my audio work, I am also a professional writer and editor who works with musicians and other creatives on long-form storytelling projects, including memoirs, artist biographies, and narrative nonfiction. Many of these projects grow naturally out of conversations that begin in interviews and media collaborations.
