Frank Derek Douglas started with music at an early age. At the age of 5 he already had his own drumset and was setting in with his dad's bands. He started taking drum lessons at age 8 and then his musical career started to bloom. Frank played in several groups through high school, and also starred in numerous school productions including the lead roll in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Big River, Aladdin, Babes in Arms, and several others. Frank then went on to be a percussion major at Eastern Illinois University. While attending EIU, Frank Derek Douglas started playing more guitar and singing as a front man. He fronted several bands through the years, including The Quad Cities Favorite, Grazin District, and has opened for such artists as Blackberry Smoke, Phil Vassar, Big and Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Levi Lowrey, Sunny Sweeny Clay Cook from the Zac Brown Band, The Janedear Girls, Love and Theft, The Invite, Darryl Worley, and several others. In 2012 Frank decided to further his journey and move to Nashville where he has been writing and recording with some of the industries top names.
