A daughter is often told how much she is like her dad. The dad has cheated and she wants to tell her mother that, although she has a lot of his traits, that ISN'T one of them.

LaDena Laine is a singer/songwriter for kids and Gospel choirs. She also writes children’s books. She moved to Finland from the USA after university in 1993. Even though she had been writing poetry and lyrics since she was a child, it was in Finland where she met people who could help put them to music. Since then, she has a been doing puppet show and singing with daycare kids. In 2011 Canary Songs was born. She uses the company to hold singing workshops and publish books. She has had success with a three-episode program on The Finnish National streaming platform YLE ARENA. Her Gospel songs are sung around the world in churches and schools. Recently, after many years hiatus, she has started releasing new singles in a variety of genres.
