(NV) Nikki Vukovic is a a Maltese artist/ singer who began singing in 2006. Ever since she released her first single in 2006, she has had a considerable number of other songs penned down by her husband Sean, that featured prominently on local airwaves as popular singles. This subsequently, earned her nominations for Best Newcomer 2006 and Best Solo Artist 2007 at the Bay Music Awards. She released her debut album entitled 'Envy' in 2009 and has played in a number of local gigs and festivals including The Farsons Grand Beer Festival and Notte Gozitana as well as a prestigious appearance at the Malta Music Awards, with her band. Later singles such as 'Back From Home' in 2009 and 'Reason For Denying' in 2010 also hit the number one spot in the Maltacharts. Recently, she took a bit of a deserved break from the local gigging circuit. However, she is now planning a comeback in the local scene, with the forthcoming release of her new upcoming single which is going to be the first of many more songs to come as a follow up to the first album. So watch out for some of her new tunes which will be on air, very soon!
