Personal profile

I run the record label Recreation Records and I am published by Universal Music Publishing until 2026. I front the band My Computer and I was signed by Alan Mcgee to Creation Records as a member of One Lady Owner. My Computer were signed to 13 Amp by John Best, David Holmes and Dean O'Connor who then managed Sigur Ros. I was signed to Universal Music Publishing by Caroline Elleray who signed Coldplay. I signed two more record deals with Mercury and GUT and then set up my own record label. I am distributed by Gardners books in the UK and I run the You Tube channel Blank Tape Video Productions. I am a rebel singer songwriter in the time of no rebel singer songwriters. I have been produced by John Leckie, been critically acclaimed for the first two My Computer albums Vulnerabilia and No CV and my last manager was Shaun Ryders dad. I also fronted the Manchester bands Hulio Ridiculo, Kid Dynamo and Good Neighbour. I am currently writing my 20th album which is a concept album about Guy Fawkes being alive today.

Company profile

Recreation Records has been around for 11 years and featured in the Guardian twice. I was also interviewed by the BBC when I started the label. The label has been hit more than 10 million times since I started it, but due to the internet age that we live in, that has not converted into sales. Undeterred though, I continue to write and record albums for the label as My Computer due to my god given talent and the fact that John Leckie told me to my face that I was a poet and told The Quietus that I am the best singer in the UK, when I am on it.
