Me? Well I play bass for Crush and the Mighty Rhythm. I dabble in song writing too and record my own songs so try to be a bit of an all round musician, writer, arranger mixer & editor. Just into music in a big time. Favourite type of music is the britpop of the 90's. After that anything guitar based is my kinda thing as long as it's not too heavy. Heaviest I get is Metallica.

Crush and the Mighty Rhythm have been around in various guises for a number of years, but up until September 2008 it was a solo project run by Crusher (Mark Dale) from his sad no mates attic where he pounded a back catalogue of songs into a small recording studio to create an interesting sound. It was a sound that caught the imagination of bassist Phil Wardle who liked the idea of getting a band together to play them live, and so the pair began rehearsing to develop a set to take out on the road. But in the absence of a like-minded and enthusiastic drummer it seemed to be an idea that was never likely to get off the ground.....until that is, Crush met Stuart Blanchflower at a mutual friends wedding and their talk turned to bands and Stuart appearing to be the like-minded and enthusiastic drummer Crush and the Mighty Rhythm were looking for. From there, Crush and the Mighty Rhythm were reborn and the initial ambition to play one gig somewhere to at least the landlord and bar staff has been fulfilled, and there have been a few good nights and auditions to be proud of.
