Faron has worked in the independent music and entertainment industry for over 10 years. Graduating from the University of North London with an honours degree in Marketing in 2000 he set up M&M Promotions and dance music label Funktastique Records distributed by by Greyhound Records (Vinyl).He built a roster/mailing list of high profile DJs and Producers inc: Lil Louis Vega, Kenny Dope, Eric Morillo of Subliminal Records, Roger Sanchez of Release Yourself and Grammy award winner David Morales. Faron’s next move was into broadcast media, starting at Channel 5 in 2001 within the newly created Sponsorship & Sales division, he administered the Peugeot film sponsorship deal. Utilising his relationships with DJs he also exposed Channel 5 to his dance music network for bedding music within their programming. He took up the position of European Label Manager for Deep Vision Records in 2002, headed up by Sandy Rivera of Kings of Tomorrow and began working closely with Europe’s largest dance music label DEFECTED, as well as Ministry of Sound. In 2005, Faron and partner set up Rhythm and Muse Publishing, Library and Records. The label was distributed by The Orchard & Proper Music Distribution. He secured contracts and product retainers for the Library with; ITV, Channel 4, History Channel, Virgin Media, TBWA, Saatchi & Saatchi, THQ Games for synchronisation into adverts, film and video games. August 2008 saw Faron launch Represent Me LTD, a consultancy proficient in Entertainment, Media, Arts & Fashion. In July 2009, Faron joined TAG Strategic as Director of Business Development for Europe. Launching Faron is a Co-founder and partner of MusicConnex. London's premier DIY Music & New Media event, created by music professionals for music professionals, MusicConnex is the missing link in DIY Creatives’ careers. The 3 day event from Tuesday 19th - Thursday 21st April 2011, is designed to facilitate and promote social networking, informative discussion and inspiration amongst emerging and established music acts and new media. Embracing how the digital revolution has forever changed how we consume music, providing alternative routes to market, MusicConnex bridges the gap between innovative Acts looking to establish a career in the music industry, and the sophisticated tools with which to achieve this. A wealth of inspiring senior industry professionals will congregate in the heart of the UK this April to converse, advise and illustrate how to gain cut through and make it in the music industry. Faron is a mentor at the Aiming High event, where he is a Keynote Speaker to teenagers aged between 12-13. Aiming High celebrated more than a decade of success when it held its 11th event for young people in March 2009. More than 100 teenagers celebrated the anniversary of the event designed to help inspire and motivate pupils from high schools across Sandwell (UK).
