El Amir is the new guitar soloist for Hans Zimmer’s new show called “The World of Hans Zimmer”, a Symphonic Celebration selling out in the biggest arenas in Europe.
El Amir is one of the best flamenco guitar virtuosos of the new generation from Spain.
He is an award winning musician and a Latin Grammy Nominee with Radio Tarifa 2004, Chambao 2012 and Silver Medalist at Global Music Award 2020
Worldwide he is the only existing flamenco guitarists of his kind capable of playing many other different music styles and string instruments with mastery and virtuosity.
El Amir has been featured on American TV appearing on CNN for a portrait documentary about him and on PBS on “Now Hear This” with Scott Yoo.
El Amir is part of the beautiful and amazing project “Canción Andaluza” by Paco de Lucia Together with Paco’s nephew Jose Maria Bandera performing his posthumous album for the first time live on stage.
In February 2020 El Amir has released his third Flamenco Guitar Solo Album called “Andalucía”. Ten flamboyant songs as a tribute to the south of Spain.
El Amir has been collaborating, recording and performing with the most divers and renowned artists such as Marcus Miller, Hans Zimmer (Hollywood), Stanley Clarke, Juno Reactor (Matrix), Radio Tarifa, Kroke (Steven Spielberg), Shankar Mahadevan (John McLaughlin-Shakti), Miguel Poveda, Estrella Morente, José Mercé, Diego El Cigala and many more.
El Amir has performed at prestigious venues such as Royal Albert Hall & Royal Festival Hall London, Town Hall New York, The O2 Arena London, Palais de Bercy Paris, Glastonbury Festival, Majestic Theater Boston, Zellerbach Hall Berkley, Mercedes Benz Arena Berlin, Wembley Arena London, Olympic Hall Munich, among others.
His concerts are always an experience, success and a highlight. El Amir’s musicality, energy, personality, technical virtuosity and capacity are overwhelming.
