In 2014 Hamburg Indie/Brit-Pop Band Four Colours recorded their first EP called FRGMNTS at the RG Studio in Danzig. With the support of Dutch producer Jurriaan Sielcken. Here, the band created a sound which led them onto the right musical path both nationally and internationally. Live performance achievements: ● Molotow-Opening-Festival (Reeperbahn Festival 2014) ● Support-Slots for The Sweet Serenades (Sweden/2014) and The Wombats (UK/2015) ● Local Festivals “Dithmarscher Rock-Festival” and “Acker Festival” ● Official Aftershow Party at Eurosonic Norderslaag in Groningen (The Netherlands) After their performance at Eurosonic Norderslaag in Groningen and before the band even had released their first EP FRGMNTS the press compared Four Colours with major bands like Phoenix, Stereophonics and Foals and yet praised their own sound. That was music to the ears of those young musicians of Four Colours. In 2015 their first EP FRGMNTS was released supported by a release party at Hamburg’s sold out “Knust”. This was also the beginning of a busy touring summer for the band with small festivals and gigs around the country. After Four Colours finished their tour through Germany the band headed straight towards their first ever UK tour playing in London, Salisbury and Norwich and events like the London Art Lovers Ground at the hip 1001 Club. During their time in the UK BBC London heard about the band and played some of their songs on the radio and even did an interview with the boys. Since the beginning of 2016 Four Colours signed up with their new management, so the band is looking forward to an even more exciting year ahead. At present Four Colours are in the studio, writing new songs. They are preparing for new releases this year and are playing live shows in Germany. The band is also looking to return to the UK for some shows, too. Watch this space!
