Hello there! After ten years in the music industry, I've gotten to know copyright administration from many angles. My main focus has however been musical works registration, in which I have been part of building, improving and maintaining the services and software products that handle it.

I now work as a freelance consultant, helping publishers, societies and music tech companies with work registrations, CWR, metadata and the processes around them. This on top of general guidance in the world of music copyright. I'm most interested in publishing rights and recorded music, especially how creators get paid fairly in the digital market. I like working with people who know their field well and want to make the systems around it work better. Areas I work with, or have worked with over the years: - CWR (Common Works Registration), work registrations and rejection analysis - Metadata quality and catalogue clean-up - CMO/MRO/PRO workflows - Product management and product ownership: roadmaps, backlog prioritisation and release planning - Business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria - Working between business users and development teams - System testing and acceptance - Jira, Confluence and agile methods such as Scrum - SQL, data analysis and bulk data handling - Customer support and training
