Personal profile

I’m an Irish music producer, mixer, songwriter and audio engineer based in Berlin, with more than 20 years of international experience in music production and recording. My work spans rock, alternative, punk, metal, electronic and experimental music, with experience ranging from songwriting and artist development through recording, mixing and immersive audio production. I have worked in professional studios in Ireland, Germany and the USA, including Sound City and Sunset Sound in Los Angeles. Alongside my production work, I teach music production, songwriting and audio engineering at university level. I also specialise in Dolby Atmos and immersive audio, combining traditional recording and mixing techniques with new spatial and AI-assisted production workflows. I’m always interested in connecting with artists, producers, labels, publishers, studios and other music-industry professionals for creative collaborations, production projects and new opportunities.

My work covers the complete production process, from songwriting and pre-production through recording, editing, mixing and mastering, with a particular focus on rock, alternative, punk, metal, electronic and experimental music. I also specialise in Dolby Atmos and immersive audio production, creating spatial mixes for music and developing immersive audio workflows for modern music production. With more than 20 years of international experience, I bring a combination of creative production, technical audio expertise and artist-focused collaboration to every project. I work with independent artists and industry professionals internationally and am open to production, mixing, songwriting, immersive audio and creative collaboration opportunities.
