Sherri Tyler Born in Columbus, Ohio / U.S.A. musically influenced by her Father, and artistically supported by her Mother, little “Sherri T.” studied music and piano in her early childhood. In her teenage years, her musical talent was quickly discovered by her teachers at Cleveland Heights High School, as she was selected for special singing events and musicals. At the same time, she became the lead singer of the Jeff Popely Band, gave numerous concerts and won the “First Prize of the Battle of the Bands Contest”. She studied at the Ohio State University and graduated with the Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in music. During her studies, she received a U.S. Grant to study abroad, in France. She sang in many venues in Paris, Monte Carlo, Rome and Munich. After finishing her studies, she moved to Ft. Lauderdale and toured in South Florida, as the lead vocalist of “The Bob Moffitt Group”. They produced the CD “All it Takes.” “The Boca Raton Talent Management” discovered her for the international music project “Jade,” in which she made her name at America’s East Coast. Following this project she had a U.S.-Tour with her new band “Presence.” They played at “Sunfest Music Festival” in Palm Beach, Florida, “Red Rocks” in Colorado, and in New Jersey, to name a few. She shared the stage with world class musicians such as, U2, The Eagles, Stevie Nicks, Kenny Loggins, Carlos Santana, Fleetwood Mac, and many more. In studio productions she has worked with music legends such as Marcus James of “Eddie Grant”, John Merchant of the “Bee Gees” or Marcia Barrett of “Boney M” As the star of the “Viva Las Vegas” show, she celebrated great successes, as she did with numerous TV and Radio Shows from America through Malta to Germany. She was also featured in the famous US TV-Series “Miami Vice” with Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas.
