Profil personnel

Stefan spent several years working as a mixing engineer and studio assistant for Alexander Kahr, one of Austria’s most respected producers. That’s where he really learned how professional studio work happens — how to listen to arrangements, how to run a session, and, most importantly, how to stay calm and focused when something just isn’t working yet. Instead of learning everything from YouTube, Stefan learned by being in the room, working alongside experienced professionals and dealing with real sessions. Today, he works as a mixing and mastering engineer for electronic and pop music. His approach is pretty simple: punch first, clarity second, and no unnecessary detours. He wants every track to have impact while still keeping the character and emotion of the song intact. Over the years, Stefan has worked with artists such as Like Mike, Terry Golden, and Alexander Eder. And what’s it like working with him? Stefan is very direct and honest with his feedback. He’ll tell you when something isn’t working, but he’ll also tell you when something is already strong. There’s no pretending and no unnecessary ego involved. The atmosphere in the studio is calm and focused, but it’s not overly serious. There’s definitely room for a laugh and to have a good time — but when it’s time to work, the focus is on getting the best possible result. The only thing Stefan really expects is that you come prepared. From there, you work together and figure out the rest.

Profil de l'entreprise

Bionic Sound stands for professional mixing and mastering in electronic and pop music. Behind Bionic Sound is Stefan – a mixing and mastering engineer with years of experience from day-to-day studio work. His craft doesn't come from tutorials, but from real sessions: listening to arrangements, running a session, and staying calm and focused even when a track isn't where it needs to be yet. The approach is straightforward: punch first, clarity second, no unnecessary detours. Every track should have impact and cut through, without losing the character and emotion of the song – no chasing effects, just decisions that serve the music. Feedback is direct and honest: if something isn't working, it gets said, and if something is already strong, that gets said too. No pretending, no ego. The atmosphere in the studio is calm and focused, but never tense – there's always room for a laugh, though when it's time to work, only the best possible result counts. The only thing expected is that projects arrive prepared; everything else comes together in the collaboration. Past work includes projects for artists such as Like Mike, Terry Golden, and Alexander Eder.
