Personal profile
Frank Thomas aka (Franko Brian) was born in St. Mary, Jamaica; He moved to Portmore, St Catherine, closer to the city of Kingston and attended Wolmer’s Boys School. It was while at Wolmer’s that he realized he had a lyrical gift and that he wanted to sing. Franko Brian had his eyes firmly set on a career in medicine until he was seduced by music, a career that has today become Franko’s mission in life. Franko Brian relocated from Jamaica to New York City and the years he spent in New York were flourishing ones for his music career. Franko Brian never missed an opportunity to attend concerts with live performances. Bob Marley, and Super Cat, Papa San and Lutenant Stichie were the main influences that mold Franko’s career and before long he was commanding the microphone to do his own set. Fans and music industry insiders were impressed with Franko Brian’s ability to rock the crowds. His next stop was to the recording studios in New York where, with the help of Junior Demus and Nardo Ranks, he began recording his first single and opening for prominent reggae artists. He also began a wave of live performances, covering New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Florida to name a few. Franko Brian now resides between New York, Atlanta and Florida, and he is always within striking distance of a recording studio
