No One’s Arc is a 3 piece Pop Rock band originally from Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, Which formed in early 2001 while the members were still in their teens. The band consists of Dylan Bolton (Vocals & Guitar), Lee Nicholls (Bass Guitar) and Robby Johns (Drums). Over the subsequent years that followed the band played at various pubs and live music venues in and around the Mpumalanga area slowly developing their style and gaining notoriety with their fans which eventually culminated in the release of their debut EP “A Shot In The Dark” in late 2006 which generated great success and gained them much needed media coverage in the industry. After winning the RP Studios Emerging Sounds regional finals, the band gained further success outside the boundaries of their hometown, which led to many performances in and around the Gauteng area. During January 2010 the band set off on their first nationwide tour known as the “Tour of ARC” performing at 11 venues in 3 provinces in just under 3 weeks. This tour included performances at the “Up the Creek” and “RAKA” festivals near Swellendam. The band’s debut music video for the song “Fire” was also launched on the tour and has generated enormous exposure for them with regular airplay on televisions MK channel. On the 13th of May 2010 the band showed off their acoustic abilities performing live on MK’s “Studio1” with their song entitled “Days of Make Believe”. The final weekend in May saw the band performing outside South African borders at the “STRAB” Festival in Mozambique with bands like Boo!, Zinkplaat and Die Tuindwergies. Following the success of the band’s 2010 career, No One’s Arc launched their highly anticipated self-titled full length album at the Emnotweni Arena in Nelspruit on the 20th of November. The band then departed on a nationwide tour with performances at “Synergy Live”, “Park Acoustics”, and the “MK 5de Avontoer” with 9 of South Africa’s leading acts including Isochronous, Jack Parow, Pretty Blue Guns and Glaskas. On the 10th of September 2011, No One’s Arc featured on the legendary “(Live@5 Show) on 5FM with Catherine Grenfell, performing an hour set in studio to listeners across the country. Their first single “U.F.O” from their self-titled album, had further radio success and reached number 3 on the TuksFM Top 10 Chart and was also play listed on MFM in Stellenbosch, PukFM in Potchefstroom and MPower FM in Mpumalanga. The band also launched their music video for “U.F.O” produced by Catch That Rabbit Productions which has also received regular airplay on MK. Later in the year the band performed at the Mbombela Stadium on the 17th of December 2011 as opening act for the legendary UB40. Following that, they headed down to the Cape for the “MK 6de Avontoer” touring with Van Coke Kartel, New Holland and 7 other bands all along the coast of the Western Cape. The year then ended on a massive high with a New Year’s concert at Kirstenbosch Gardens with Prime Circle and Elvis Blue. The band now currently resided in Cape Town where they hope to further there already successful career.
