Biography: I am Sicelo Gregory Xaba the musician of faith who goes by the name of Sicelo God Sent on stage, I was born in 12 April 1986 at Edendale Hospital in the city of Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. My earliest influences in life were Greg Minnaar and Mbulelo Old John Mabizela because they were internationally acclaimed athletes from Pietermaritzburg and so as a local resident committed to being one of the best athletes in the World I also strived for excellence in an attempt to be a professional at whatever I do. •My passion for music was ignited by the love that I have for life, •In terms of music one of my biggest inspirations is Lil Wayne, he stands out for me because of his unique ability to create rhythmically blended lyrics in a manner real to life. •Most importantly my character has been shaped by my life experiences through trial and error I am mostly shaped by the grace of God. In the wake of trusting and believing God is real I was able to do what I am doing now, it was triggered by having faith in Jesus. I have never received any formal music education, my music is mostly talent, diligence and the love of music. When I write most of the time HipHop, RnB, Kwaito, Jazz, and Gospel inspire me the most because they are the genres that broaden my art as a musician, they offer limitless expressions of how I feel creatively. My first period of my music was horrible, nobody had ever heard of me making music and I had no support at all, most people thought I was mad in my head, and some thought I was stealing other people's songs, nobody believed I was making music. The culture and city I was born in and then later lived in has influenced me to be cautious about life, I was exposed to love, deceit and anger which made me realise that it is better to do to music as you want music to do to you, but the music scene is bias in the City that I'm from. Nonetheless my creativity is influenced by everyday life for the love of Jesus I remain hopeful because as far as I believe for the love of God my music is celebratory Gospel music, therefore never forget that God wants you to live a happy life for as long as life exists. My craft is in faith for the love of God because love is not ROMANCE I believe in God and I love Jesus and so my craft is Biblical for the love of music •some of the main ethics and inspirations of most of my crafts which makes them Biblical are in The Holy Bible, •John 2:1-11 •1 Timothy 5:20-23 •Genesis 1:11-12. The message in my music is that of love, loyalty, hope, and faith. The message in my music is the message of God for the love of Jesus in hopes for Man to repent and remain faithful for the love of life until Jesus returns. •I make music to spread the word of God and to make an honorable living for myself. In terms of quality, •in the music industry I bring Biblical authenticity never head before, I bring qualities of faith and hearty skills of rhythmical story telling, I write most of my music from the heart guarded by The Holy Bible's perspective •My music is different from others in my genre because it is the kind of Gospel Music which fits perfectly in other Genres such as HipHop, RnB, Kwaito, Gqom, Amapiano, Pop, Jazz and House Music •I read The Holy Bible as a history book, I do not believe that The Holy Bible could ever be a Novel, I believe that The Holy Bible is a non-fiction book, that is how my identity is distinct, •I bring the message of celebration, faithfulness, hope, and love to the Genre. Jesus had no boundaries he was able to walk on rough seas so too as a believer my boundaries have no limits I seek to be part of a miracle. My approach to songwriting is not complicated, it is a simple process, I write my own songs because I prefer originality and I am the only authentic version of my feelings so inspired by Jesus for the love of God I write from the heart. I bring it to work by taking from my heart I give to my brain and from my brain I write with my hands, I sing with my voice and it works because God is good. The messages in my lyrics are mostly messages of repentance and hope for the love of Jesus Christ our saviour. The first time I recorded was in May 2015, I was excited to enter the music scene for the first time in my life, and I am thankful for remaining humble even after recording music I have not changed for the worst, I am humbled each time I make a song after another. I have learned that in the music industry there is alot of jealousy and greed, nonetheless honesty is the best way to grow. •I can play Piano or Keyboard, I don't know how I learned it but when I gained the ability to write lyrics and sing I was also able to play a melody that I want with a keyboard. I have had failure after failure pursuing my music career, my journey hasn't been enriched and I am still pursuing a music career, •At the moment I connect with my audience through as many streaming platforms as possible. For my audience I hope to inspire honesty, joy, love, and faithfulness, I hope to inspire the ways of Jesus for the love of God. I am currently working on generating an income for myself that is sufficient for an affordable quality life for a man such as myself with two children, if I am successful in music in the name of Jesus I hope to support as many talented artists as possible that is the future milestone I seek for the love of music. I am a believer, I believe that God is real, I believe that Jesus was crucified, and I believe that The Holy Bible is a History Book. Either than music I love BMX Racing, Gym, Karate, Soccer, and I love it when beautiful women make me happy with a beautiful smile. At the moment I am currently not involved in any charitable or philanthropic activities related to music, • My genre is Gospel Music, but I am also interested in HipHop, RnB, Kwaito, Jazz, House, Gqom, Amapiano, and Maskandi, mostly because I love to celebrate. Fortunately God has blessed me with the ability to incorporate all of these elements into my Gospel Music, and I am thankful because such elements broaden my art as a musician, they offer limitless expressions of how the love of God embraces life faithfully. I often hope for a collaboration with other artists sooner than later however I have never collaborated with other musicians. Regarding my album release at the moment I have two albums, both my albums have a sense of faith, my first album is called "The Spoken Gospel", and my second album is called "Repent in the making", •unfortunately I have never ever performed at any notable music festivals or events, but when the time comes I look forward to being influenced morally when I perform at any music events and festivals. One day I hope to share the stage with Beyonce, I imagine performing alongside her is excelerating for any new musician who seeks the love of music. I have not yet made any videos, however videos are something I consider of great value. In music I value awards but the sad reality about my music awards is the fact that I have never won nor received any music awards. Nonetheless sooner than later I hope to win an award for the song of the year and more. Unfortunately I have no clue whether I am playlisted on any Radio Stations or not, but everyday I pray to be playlisted on any Radio Stations anywhere in the World. I look forward to being featured or interviewed on music publications and websites, I don't mind which one's as long as I have a large audience to entertain we are blessed. And for traveling news I have never toured anywhere but when I do make a tour I hope to tour where my music is mostly played, this will influence me to continue looking forward to more tours whole hearterdly. I seek a dedicated fan base and following, I look forward to engaging with my fans as I try to build a fan club. I have never ever composed or produced music for any other artists and projects, but I would love to compose for other artists because I believe that can help me grow beyond my imagination since I dream of performing at the Standard Bank Jazz Festival because birds of a feather flock together. I am prepared to have performances and tours anywhere in the World, however at the moment I do not have any upcoming performances and tours. I am planning to release new music at least once per year for seven years, I hope to achieve these with faith in God and distribution with good marketing support. I seek to make a living from my music therefore financial enrichment is part of my goal in music. My long term goals and aspirations in music are to create and release ever lasting quality music for the love of God, my long term goal is to enter Heaven with my music cheering celebrations when it is time for me to meet Jesus. For as long as life exists I want my music career to have brought to the World a message of hope, and the love of a faithful life with no desires of immoral things.
