The Atelier Sound Recording studio was founded in 2009 by Jay Grobler. Jay Initially started off with the concept of becoming a musician, but soon realized that that type of career was not all a bowl of cherries. One of the lessons he learned along the way was that sound recording was not cheap. Knowing that there was a huge demand for studio time, Jay decided to branch out into that side of the industry. He acquired a premises in Melville, Johannesburg, and set about creating opportunities for musicians, in particular offering sound recording studio time and rates that are far more reasonable than the norm. Today the Atelier Sound Recording Studio offers voice-overs, mastering, production, sound recording of all types including demo recording and album recording. Atelier is a studio where professional musicians can gather and enjoy a professional product at affordable prices that are the best available in South-Africa.
