Ego Menar is a Nigerian singer and songwriter based in Lagos. He was born on 8 December in Delta State, Nigeria. He began pursuing music at an early age. He credits his brother Joshua Ighomena as his influence. In 2015, Menar began working on his debut album 'On Board' which was released in June 2017 under 20A Records. Besides singing, he also produces and mixes his own songs. As of June 2017, he was studying computer science in Bells University of Technology, Ogun State, Nigeria.
