I am Richard Scarlett Hatcher, born in the historic town of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England, and a titan of the music industry with over 40 years of commanding performances and recordings. Renowned for my unparalleled artistry, I have been proudly endorsed by Warwick and S.I.T. Strings, whose unmatched quality resonates through every note I play. My illustrious career includes collaborations with legendary artists such as Steve Stevens, Jeff Scott Soto, and Tommy Shaw, and I’ve crafted iconic recordings under the masterful guidance of producers Tom Werman, Tony Platt, Nigel Green, and Charlie Midnight. As I am one of the founding members of McQueen Street, the band had monumental success, securing two Top 30 Billboard hits with “In Heaven” and “My Religion,” the latter soaring to #1 on UK metal radio and dominating MTV’s Headbangers Ball in the 1990s.
