Short Bio A native of Mobile, AL, Karmessa is no stranger to music! Her humble beginnings of performing in community ensembles & school choirs, prepared and afforded her a University Choir Scholarship to Alabama A&M University. Little did she know, her collegiate musical growth was grooming her to live her dreams! Currently a recording artist, a lead singer for Element XI and a background vocalist for Season 2, American Idol winner, Ruben Studdard, she’s no newcomer to the stage. Her unique sound is a mixture of R&B/Pop/Soul, with a speciality in intricate harmonies. Her singles, “Betta” & “Game X” are available on all digital streaming platforms!
