Johnny Fury is a blues and rock artist from Austin, TX. On stage and in the studio, Johnny draws inspiration from Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan when crafting his guitar parts. As a singer and songwriter, Johnny adheres to certain molds of pop songwriting, but he takes creative license to alter generic song forms. The debut album, Johnny Fury, explores the diverse genres of rock, Texas blues, jazz, funk, and Latin Music. Johnny pays tribute to the music of the 1960’s that influences his sound. Spanning 44 minutes, the Johnny Fury LP consists of 10 tracks. The songs were written based on personal experiences, but occasionally the songs drift to a fictitious world. Three part vocal harmonies, a grooving rhythm section, and bluesy solos are constants throughout the album. The band consists of bass, guitar, keyboards, vocals, and drums. This 5-piece lineup allows for a broad range of sounds, taking listeners on a musical adventure. Seeking collaboration for songwriting for my next album 2016!
