The best vocals are the ones that make a song feel like it has a story. I’m Jay, a male vocalist, songwriter and topliner, and I’ve been recording and developing music for over 10 years. I started out writing melodies and recording rough vocal ideas of my own, mostly to understand what made a song work. Over time, that grew into collaborating with artists and producers on lead vocals, toplines, lyrics, harmonies and vocal arrangements. I’ve worked across pop, rock, R&B, soul, EDM, hip-hop and other contemporary styles. I enjoy finding the right vocal character for a production, whether that means something intimate and restrained, a more conversational delivery, or a stronger vocal that can carry a chorus. I’m comfortable working from a finished instrumental, a rough demo, lyrics, a reference vocal, or just an idea. If you already know what you want, I’ll work toward that direction. If you’re still developing the song, I’m happy to contribute creatively and help shape the vocal. I care about the recording itself as much as the performance. Clean takes, natural phrasing, good timing, useful harmonies and well-organized stems are all part of doing the job properly. For me, the goal is to make a vocal that feels like it belongs to the record, and gives the producer something they can genuinely build on.

The studio was built around years of recording and developing music, with experience across pop, rock, R&B, soul, EDM, hip-hop, and other contemporary styles. We enjoy working on different kinds of music, but we always start with the same question: **what does this particular song need from the voice?** Sometimes that means a close, conversational delivery. Sometimes it means a warmer, fuller vocal that can carry the chorus. Other times, the best choice is something more restrained, with the emotion coming through the phrasing rather than the volume. We also understand that producers need more than a good performance. Clean takes, consistent timing, useful harmonies, and well-organized vocal stems are part of the work.
