Mint Music Social Network & Artist Competition Mint Music Social Network was created to help current and aspiring music artists enhance their brand and elevate their skill set through the spirit of competition. Whether you are signed, unsigned, global, or local, MintMusic.com can provide you with the online visibility that's needed to be seen globally by record execs, A&R's, talent scouts, etc. The MM marketing department utilizes an array of online and offline advertising mediums to improve the brand recognition of each MM Artist. Membership to Mint Music Social Network is FREE. However, to offset maintenance and administration cost, Mint Music places a 10% excise on every transaction made on MintMusic.com. For example, if one chooses to purchase a $10 album on Mint Music Social Network, the total cost of the album would be $11. MintP3 - Sell Your Music & Keep all Revenue Mint Music Social Network Members may upload & sell "their" MP3 records, albums, instrumentals and song tracks to the MintP3. Once the MM Member designates a PayPal account as their payment gateway, all of the revenue generated from the sale of their MP3's will be deposited directly to that account. MintP3 is open to the public therefore you may direct all those that you wish to hear and or buy your music to the MintP3 page. In addition to music sales, the MintP3 is also a place for artist to rate, comment and critique the audio quality of fellow Mint Music Artist's. Mint Music Store - Sell Your Merchandise & Keep All Revenue On MintMusic.com, MM Members can create their own store for the purpose selling physical items online. Similar to Ebay and Etsy, Mint Music Social Network offers its members a personal store page to sell "their" merchandise. Whether you're an Afrobeat artist with logo branded shirts, a J-Pop group selling autographed sneakers or a Christian Country songstress with your own fragrance, your MM Store can provide your products with a global music oriented consumer base. You may list as many products as you wish and just like the MintP3, all of the revenue generated from the sale of your merchandise will be deposited directly to your PayPal account. In addition to your personal store, all Mint Music Member products will be placed in the official Mint Music Store, thereby adding more exposure to your merchandise. Monthly MintP3 Judging Contest At the end of the month (start date determined by MM), 1 instrumental & 1 song will be selected as the winner of the Monthly MintP3 Judging Contest. The owner (Mint Music member who uploaded the audio content) of the song will be designated as the winner of the Monthly MintP3 Song Judging Contest and will have $100 dispersed into their PayPal account. The owner (Mint Music member who uploaded the audio content) of the instrumental will be designated as the winner of the Monthly MintP3 Instrumental Judging Contest and will have $100 dispersed into their PayPal account. MM members that upload a song and an instrumental are eligible to win both $100 monthly prizes. Yearly MintP3 Judging Contest During the 12th month, after 11 months of consecutive Monthly MintP3 Judging Contest, 1 instrumental & 1 song will be selected as the winner of the Yearly MintP3 Judging Contest. The owner (Mint Music member who uploaded the audio content) of the instrumental will be designated as the winner of the Yearly MintP3 Instrumental Judging Contest and will have $500 dispersed into their PayPal account. The owner (Mint Music member who uploaded the audio content) of the song will be designated as the winner of the Yearly MintP3 Song Judging Contest and will have $500 dispersed into their PayPal account. MM members that upload multiple songs and instrumentals are eligible to win both $500 prizes. Mint Music Radio - Licensed International Online Radio Station As a member of the Mint Music Artist Competition & Social Network, your audio content is eligible to be played on Mint Music Radio. Mint Music Radio is a non-genre specific internet radio station that was created for the following reasons. To provide Mint Music Artist with an additional platform to showcase their talent. To increase the fan base and brand recognition of the Mint Music Artist. To provide Mint Music Artist (by way of Radionomy) with radio royalty compensation. Here is a link to Radionomy licenses. To provide Mint Music Artists, Mint Music Vendors & Mint Music Venues with an arena to advertise their products, services and events. Although, just because you upload music to the MintP3, that doesn't guarantee your music will be played on MM Radio. We will only consider 256K (and above) clean (no profanity) audio content for day time (8am-6pm) play. We will create evening listening blocks for non mainstream radio friendly content. Also, we "strongly" encourage you to register your content (SABAM, BMI, ASCAP, SESAC, etc.) before uploading, to ensure you receive royalties from your registrar. So whether you want your music played on MMR or just want to listen other artist content, Mint Music Radio has a place for you. Where else can you hear Folk, Death Metal, Country Pop, Afrobeat, Instrumental Rock and Hip-Hop in a one hour span. Mint Music Radio is an international radio station where one can listen to the tunes of India, Tanzania, Manchester, or Detroit without turning the dial.
