I started playing in a band while studying architecture in Peru back in the 80's. After leaving that band, I played with two other groups briefly until I left the stage for a number of years to focus on my art career, and living in Japan, England and finally the US. Some years ago I decided to resume making music, and created the art band Los Indocumentados (Illegal Aliens). With this band, I write songs about all aspects of life, while reflecting on aspects related to the life of undocumented people and migrants in general, those who live away from their loved ones. I have been greatly influenced by 60's and 80's music.
