BERTIL EDIN -BIO For many years, music had been very important to me. I played with EdinÅdahl for 15 years and ran the studio in parallel. We won Eurovision in 1990. But then I was totally sad. For 25 years then I sold the studio and completely changed course. Started working in the church as a pastor. The music the next one completely disappeared from my life and I had absolutely no plans to bring it up again. The was a passed stage. But 5-6 years ago I got an unexpected income from STIM and then bought one a little spontaneously sound card and a music computer. Started recording and writing songs in the house, but only for my own sake. It became a hobby and a therapy that became very healing and creative me. No requirements, just a wonderful creation. About a year ago I started thinking that "maybe you should release it on Spotify, then me still has 10 songs in the drawer ". With a little much-needed pressure from a good friend, it became of. It took 25 years ... I was back in music again, but in a completely different way, with a lot more calm and distance. The music is melodic pop inspired by the music you grew up with in the 70-80s, but with a little new touch. I like when it's guitar based and when you work with acoustic drums. Feeling the nerve of a musician giving in to him is magical. The lyrics on the Album are written from my heart. That which comes up spontaneously. I have actually had no plan, but have written about topics that feel urgent and close to me self. For the first time, I have written a love song for my wife. A song is about the environment and our children's cries for the adult world. Have also written about my beloved mother, who is also one tribute song to all mothers. What is consistent in the texts is a transparent and contemplative view of life. Everything I think I am permeated by God's loving presence. Not always easy to detect for it western man who often gets stuck on the surface and drowns in all the noise. But at the same time is it's a crucial key to being able to absorb the mystery of life in a new way. Everything has an inner light. The love. God. I think the meaning of life is to discover this.
