Here, the bassoon begins singing, and then the woodwinds sing their own songs, and then together. It is close to a sonata form without a development section, but in the section that replaces it, the harmony is fixed on a single chord, creating a contrast with the song. In the coda, the song breaks down into pieces, and ends as if hesitant to say something.
