As a son of a bolivian father i was raised with a guitar in my hands. Started playing bass at the age of 13. Started gigging with 15. Education: high school, college, part time studies at Basel University, marketing education IFKS, sound engineer degree at SET school. studies at jazzschool basel with fernando fontanilles, many years bass lessons with claudio caruso (Jazzschool Freiburg, Germany) Absolutely dedicated to bass - and guitar playing, i earn my money as a muisician, studio owner, producer, bandcoach and songwriter/arranger. Also i am president of the www.rfv.ch, an association taking care of popular music in the region of basel & basel countryside. My past musical highlights: The Wondertoys / BritPop (1992 - 1999) Phébus / Indie Rock (1999 - 2009) Featherlike / Indie RockPop (2005 - 2011) The Pill / Electro RockPop (2008 - 2010) At the moment i'm working / touring with the following acts: BAUM / Singer Songwriter (www.baummusic.com) IRA MAY & THE SEASONS / Soul HipHop Pop (www.ira-may.com) BLUSH / Indie Pop (www.blush-music.ch) PIERO ESTERIORE / Italo-Pop (www.pieroesteriore.com) various sub jobs I'm enjoying not being part of one band, but working with professional bands with a diversity of styles, various drummers and having the opportunity to perform many shows. This keeps me fit and i get in touch with many interesting musicians from different scenes. Musicbusiness is on the move. Me, too.
