Tatina Tatjana Nikic (Zagreb-Zürich) is international Pianist, Composer, Singer who lives last 3-4 Years in Zürich, Switzerland. After the war in Croatia 2004, she left her Homeland with an intention to see different life pictures and to play piano. This vision turned out in successful and rich international Pianist/ Musician carrier. Her life and music is strongly connected with her family, life experiences and the people she met on her way. She's best qualities are being: heroic stubborn, honest, sensible, open, naive, listening the messages from the dreams and being very lucky and guided from inside! In a search for the better opportunities in life, she tried all directions as a musician by developing her skills till today, working hard and being true to her identity and uniqueness. On the way she learned her strength and realized that she was actually never alone. Her life and work is helped and supported from many many good people and friends who came on her way. She often says: “ I am you, my friends. I love you so much. My success and music came out from sharing with you. Without you i would not know myself. Thank you!” About Album “Innocent Melody ” The Album “Innocent Melody” is my first solo album where i play piano as i always dreamed. I got beautiful Steinway grand piano for use in Ref. Church in Egg, little Village near Zürich, took one day, microphones and my computer and made the recordings. Every Piano peace was recorded 2 times. The second Take i took for CD. Songs are the summery of longer time work, composed in a different places and situations, as a self reflection and on a people who came in my life and left the traces. Album “Innocent melody” is very, very personal story of my life. If i have to talk about genre, i could say: “ My music is a big wave coming out of me, who carries the emotions, movements, colours and ambience out in ether. Getting to knowing the people from different cultural backgrounds, allowing me to come closer i got the understanding of the soul content, which later turn out into the music. All happens completely unconscious and I realized the beauty after. Connection happens through the understanding, accepting, helping, compassion, loving them. They are my music.
