As creators, we often shelve projects, wondering if they’ll ever see the light of day. Seven years ago, I wrote this neo-pop-jazz-inspired track about rekindled love. Year after year, it kept getting pushed to the back of the production queue. A few weeks ago, a serendipitous moment brought the files back to the top of my desktop. Hearing it fresh, I knew it was time. I am incredibly proud to finally share [Hide-and-Seek]. I played every instrument on this track, and it features the soulful, brilliant vocals of my long-time friend and collaborator, Anil Joseph. Trust the timing of your work.
