Steve “B” I started playing guitar and piano in the late seventies, all in all a pretty good time for pop music. I worked with various bands playing current hits and songs from the early sixties, The Beatles, Stones etc. Looking back on the influences of the sixties bands, I discovered Rock ‘n’ Roll, Rhythm & Blues, Country and Rockabilly. I loved the pure honesty of those fifties sounds and the simplicity of the music mostly written by teenagers for teenagers and recorded on very basic equipment. In my professional life I have worked as a recording engineer/producer as well as playing on many sessions. I have also been involved in video production for music and infomercials. Of late I have been volunteering my services restoring old black and white film for various archives as well as writing and recording my songs written in the fifties style.
