John Maycraft is an English born, full-time, Composer, Arranger and Musician. His primary inspiration is nature. Essences of Fibonacci and Golden Ratio mathematical principles have been utilised in many of his post 2010 works. His style of work is almost always instrumental, Minimalist based and odd time signatures feature quite prominently. Works often feature instruments with timed echoes and interweaving arrangements. Many examples of his work have been featured on well known TV programmes (The One show, Bargain Hunt, Rip off Britain, James May's Series.. eg 'Reassembler'). His particular style of music and underscore is used frequently in Europe, particularly France, Germany and Italy. John is a Professional (voting member) member of The PRS (ASCAP / Biem / Stemra), MCPS and PPL royalty collection societies. Also a professional member of The Ivors Academy.
