I am a classically trained but versatile oboist and pianist - a good reader who can also play fluently by ear. I can play anything from music hall to grand operas, and especially love playing jazz, blues, Latin American, rock, and commercial styles on oboe - a more fluent and versatile instrument than many would believe. I can also be relied upon - to turn up on time, to get on with the work and to create a good working ambience with any team that I have the good fortune to work with. I am also a piano teacher, composer and arranger. I'm looking for studio and live projects to play my music, or to work with other artists, live performance, recordings, and any interesting projects.
