Since he got his master of business speciality event management, DCFTD alias Dj Cat F*** The Decks (alias Julien Minet) is founding and managing the prolific Boxon Records label. His musical background begins with the intensive training of piano, until the electrocution caused by the use of a groovebox associated to turntables. He becomes a DJ, spinning in Surfers Paradise, Madrid, Paris and in the big clubs of Bordeaux. His obsessive sensitivity for music in general, and his own dancefloor feeling certainly explain his talents of DJ, and the success of his label. Then along with his partner Géraldine Hugot (from ZH Agency), who has 20 years of working experience in the music industry, Julien Minet just created the publishing company HUMAINE BOX (SARL).

After two years of unremitted work, Boxon Records, the young French independent recording label managed to make itself a pretty nice spot on the French electronic scene. Created in 2007 by Julien Minet (aka DCFTD) in Bordeaux, the story of this label looks like an exploit in a context of sick musical industry. Symbol of their amazing ascension: Gooseflesh scheduled at the festival « Transmusicales de Rennes », WAT pre-selected and Dilemn in the discovery category of “Printemps de Bourges 2010”. With already more than 25 releases (vinyl or digital) in only two years, Boxon definitely wants to shake the electro scene! Watch out!
