Hilton Theissen, born 1974 in Capetown (South Africa) and grown up in Germany is a composer, producer, singer and multi instrumentalist with many different skills and faces in terms of musical styles. In the early 90s he started as a guitarist and composer of a progressive Rock / Metal Project (Dark Millennium) and took a long journey through Alternative / Indie Rock until he teamed up with his first electronic band project partner Uwe Lübbers to found AKANOID and the ELEKTROFISH Studios in 1999. Since than he worked with different artists, publishers and labels to develop sounds, mixing techniques and concepts of all kind of genres.

The ELEKTROFISH Production Team was founded by Hilton Theissen and Uwe Lübbers on the base of the Act AKANOID and it`s sideprojects at the end of the 90..s producing for labels like Spirit Zone and Insolation. It was necessary to have an institution for composing and experimental sound to work flexible, day or night. Within 10 years a strong technical and personal development took place which contained a large amount of productions experiencing very different styles. Nower days we..ve extended to offer several kinds of work mode, and already succeeded in fields like: Ambient, Tech House, Psy Trance, Alternative, Indie, Elektro, Drum & Bass, Lounge, Club House, Punk, Metal, Industrial, Pop, Chanson, Hip Hop Soundscapes, Radiocommercials, DVD Presentation und Audio books And we are hungry for more!
