Born Sherika Harris in Kingston, Jamaica, May 13, 1984. Former student Ardenne High, Edna Manley College and the University of Technology, Jamaica. Her early influence in music spans various genres and artist including classical music and rock. Nubian Red seeks to give rise to the new genre of music called JamRock which fuses the eclectic Jamaican sounds of Reggae and traditional Jamaican music with Rock and classical music.
