Monte La Rue has often been nicknamed The Lounge King of the Lowlands. The Belgian dj/producer, currently holding residence in Amsterdam, has issued a firm statement with a range of ‘relaxed’ compilations and exclusive DJ sets, all of them oozing with excellence and diversity. His trade mark DJ sound of laid back grooves, submerged in waves of intimacy and sensuality, makes Monte La Rue stand out in any crowd. Monte La Rue ‘Lounge Deluxe’ compilation series becomes a classic and over the years he creates a diversity of releases ranging from ‘Latin Deluxe’ down to ‘Welcome to Club Jazz’ and develops several concepts for clubs such as lounge NL, beach house Republiek and special products for the likes of Dutch designer Jan Des Bouvrie, Micha Klein, Auping, AutoScout24 and numerous Dutch fashion designers and the Amsterdam International Fashion Week. In total, Monte La Rue has compiled over 40 compilations. Currently resident-dj in Bar Momo, A-Bar and Izakaya Amsterdam. Monte La Rue is also a established habitué in the Dutch nightlife and has hosted plentiful exclusive VIP parties and clubs. He is a regular contributor and reviewer for the Jazzism magazine, programmer & presenter of the weekly radio show Jazz Deluxe on Sublime FM and guest teacher at the Music Conservatory in Groningen.

La Maison La Rue is the label from Monte La Rue and buzzing with activity. Interludia saw the release of Monte's debut with the late night MTV-hit ‘Gloom’. In the years that followed, Monte La Rue has produced over 80 tracks by Tom Urleena, Fabergé, Da Vince, Finnick and Leo Traumen which appeared on 400+ compilations worldwide. 2008 sees the release of the 2nd solo album by Monte La Rue 'The End of the Rainbow' and in 2010 the superb exotica-album 'Dining & Dreaming' by alter-ego Fabergé. La Maison La Rue has also released several in-house compilations 'Pure Lounge for Now People', available through Itunes. La Maison La Rue is currently preparing a 'Best Of Monte La Rue' and a 3rd solo album is in the making.
