A brand new talent is coming… This is the young and soft French Caribbean singer Erika Lernot, who with her songs full of poetry, transport us with her first album "Le Voyage" (The Journey). For years, Erika measures the roads of the world as choirs. Then, she met Siam Lee, his composer and guitarist. This multi-instrumentist will open her the doors of Africa, Cape Verde, Brazil… New colors with a caribbean spirit and voice. In the course of stages and meetings, Erika builds a new, rich and crossed directory. The message is positive and aware, songs speak about Love, Unity, Lost Worlds, Hopefulness. Erika Lernot, from Martinique, grew up with the musics of the world : traditionnal drums from the Caribbean Island, but also the marvellous mix of music that all young people discover by living in Paris : Jazz, soul, Hip hop, oriental music etc. Little by little, she decided to mix all that influences into her songs, and to experiment her ideas in a lot of shows in the French capital. This was successfull, and she convices the musicians among the best to play with her. So, we find around her Stéphane Castry's basses (Keziah Jones, Beethova Obas, Ayo, Asa, Cheick Tidiane Seck, Imany) and of Régis Thérèse (Liz Mc Comb, Marianna Ramos, Angélique Kidjo), Arnaud Dolmen's battery(drum kit) (Soft, Jacques Schwarz-bart, Tiken Jah Fakoly), Olivier Juste's percussions (Grégory Privat, Mario Canonge) and of Adriano Dd Tenorio (Munir Hossn, Mayra Andrade, Blick Bassy), the whole orchestrated around the guitars of Siam Lee (Edmond Mondésir, Erik) the composer and the director of the opus. All were charmed by the melodies of Erika, who also turns out to be a talented author. On stage, she makes you sing, groove or dance…a wonderfull moment of generosity. Close your eyes, and let you bring by the poetry of Erika Lernot, who colors the world in its ways.
